Conclusion

To begin with the Coolermaster 840 ATCS will set you back about $250 or so but I will also begin with telling you that it is well worth it. It is not often that you will find a case that easily fit as many standards as the 840. Size is one of the 840 biggest assets. There aren't many case that have enough room to house a triple 120mm water-cooling rads without having to mod one inch of the case. Another smaller 120mm rad can also be mounting on the bottom of the case and places for other water-cooling components should have no issues with finding their best fit. And no matter what type of PC you are building: a gaming rig, a file server or just a very nice box the 840 has room for it all.

Cooling is another great attribute to the 840 as it offers all the cooling and ventrilation one could ask for. Only coming with four fans we saw very get numbers through out the time we spent with the case. Granted three of the fans are mammoth 230mm units they are done with class and quietness in mind. No lighting or colorings just pure silent. And if you are not in need of such fans they can be removed and replaced with smaller ones if needed.

The styling of the ATCS 840 is the equilvalent of some of the best on the market. No longer are Lian Li and Silverstone the top tier of classic and sleek case. The ATCS is back to add company to the others we so often dream about owning. With the excellent styling comes a solid and well-built case. I once saw a post in a popular forum and someone asked for advice for a strudy case. Well I have the answer for that individual. The ATCS 840.

One of the postive reasoning giving to the 840 is also its biggest negative. That is the size of the 840. It maybe too big for many people out there. If you a small area to work in or little room to house a case then this one is not for you as it towered over the typical mid-size case. With that size comes weight and a lot of it. But only individuals not looking for a full tower can see this as a negative.

If I had one suggestion for Coolermaster for the ATCS 840 is because the model we got was black maybe the interior should also be black as well. This would give the unit farther separation between itself and other high-end cases.

Pros:

Large motherboard tray
Accessiblity to back of motherboard to remove or change CPU cooler
Aluminum
PSU mounting options
Tool-less to a point
Large cooling fans
Water-cooling options
Vents
Space

Cons:

Black unit attracts dust easily
Pricey for some
Size
