Introduction to the Cooler Master LapAir Laptop Cooler

Cooler Master has been releasing laptop coolers on a regular basis. We have reviewed at least seven or eight of them in the past year or so. From the looks of it there are not stopping anytime soon, either. Evidence of this fact would be that Cooler Master have released a new laptop cooler in the last few days. This new cooler is not a super cooler like what we saw in the SF-19, but instead one a little more suitable for the masses.

This new model is the LapAir, which has a simple design that possesses great functionality. The LapAir is designed to be taken from the office to the living room couch, and still work well enough while remaining comfortable. For the last several months I have been using the Choiix Comforter for that purpose. Great on the desk’s surface and very comfortable while sitting in my favorite chair while watching the twins play.

Unlike the Comforter, the new LapAir is actively cooled. Which to me means that it should obviously perform better than the Comforter, cooling-wise at least. But, can it replace the Comforter in the... well, comfort department? We will take the cooler for a test spin and see just how well it works out.

Cooler Master’s take on the LapAir

The Notepal LapAir is a simple and elegant solution to a problem that has existed since the mass production of laptops. That is, finding a comfortable way to use a laptop away from a desk without it overheating or burning the user. A laptop cooler and a cushion have come together to create the perfect away from the office companion. It allows users to work on their laptop anywhere they can find a seat or lay down. The LapAir becomes an ergonomic surface for viewing and typing while resting on a users lap. Cooler Master understands that comfort is paramount in these situations and the Notepal LapAir is engineered to deliver.
