NZXT labeled their AIO series the Kraken. If you have seen the movie "Clash of the Titans" or if you are up on your mythology, you know the Kraken were a very large octopus-looking sea monster that was able to destroy ships with ease. This is the angle in which NZXT is taking with their new water-cooler, maybe not the destroying ships part, but perhaps more a powerful water-based beast that destroys heat. NZXT currently offers the X40 and X60, the latter of which we will be looking at first. Speaking of first, this is the first AIO to take advantage of the larger 140mm cooling fan mounting, making this truly a "monster" double-radiator at 280mm. Let's see if it's up to the task shall we?

Cooler Master’s entry into this market is the Seidon 120M, an entry level unit it may be but it is far from the norm we have seen with the others. CM took another route than selecting a model from an ODM like the rest. This unit is all original, for the most part. Equipped with a standard 120mm radiator, a PWM-controlled fan and a very unique pump/head unit, CM is looking to make a big dent in this market.

Today, we will be bringing you some new fans to their NF line-up. There are three models we will be discussing and they are the A14 FLX, A14 ULN and the A15 PWM. Two of these fans look identical but give you two different speed options while the third is far from the normal when it comes to looks but maintains the quiet operational level of the other two.

Thankfully, the issue of your high-end CPU cooler having the necessary clearance for the DIMM slots can be rectified by simply journeying over to Crucial.com and ordering up a new set of their Ballistix Sport VLP memory kit. Not only will they eliminate the clearance problem between the two aforementioned components, but also omit having to pump tons of voltage into the DIMMs to achieve a rather heft overclock out of them. Our latest sample from them has a particular destination as well. It is heading straight towards those with very little spacing inside their towers. Those using some of the very small chassis from Lian Li and Silverstone may be in the market for a cooler like the one we are about to review. The NH-L9i is designed to cool the lower wattage processors that we are seeing pop up all over Intel's roadmap. 

The cooler is very and I mean very low-profile, just 37mm with fan. It is designed to tame the little heat that Intel's 77 watt TDP processors produce. Coupled with a NF-A9x14 cooling fan, the two can fit into the narrowest of spaces.
