Thursday, 29 July 2010 14:46 Posted By Clinton

In the future, we will look at these 885-foot-wide structures in the middle of the ocean and we won't even blink. But, right now, I'm having a hard time imagining them spinning en masse at 20 revolutions per minute.

Vantec NexStar SuperSpeed SATA to USB 3.0 Adapter

Monday, 26 July 2010 13:19 Posted By Tony Walker
vantec usb 3 adpaterToday, on the bench we have Vantec’s latest adapter. This new adapter allows the end-user to interface an internal hard drive to your computer using the newer and faster USB 3.0. for the average who may not work on computers much may elect to go the route of the enclosure but the geek/IT/system builder out there time is money and we don’t want to spend extra time putting together an enclosure. A simple adapter like this one will save you time and money.

Underground tunnel complexes FOUND ON MOON Boffins offer 'lava' thesis, poohpooh alien/Elvis theories

Friday, 16 July 2010 18:53 Posted By Clinton

Space boffins believe they may be on the verge of discovering a vast, hidden network of tunnels beneath the surface of the Moon.

The tunnels aren't thought to be the work of long-extinct (or perhaps still surviving) intelligent moon aliens, perhaps driven to adopt a subterranean existence by a notional disappearing atmosphere aeons ago. Nor is any involvement by Tibetans, Elvis or others seeking a secluded dwelling far from prying human eyes suspected.

Instead, top moonologists think that they may be on the track of "lava tubes" not dissimilar to those of Earth. A lava tube, unsurprisingly, is a tube in solid surrounding rock along which at some point liquid lava has flowed (or is still flowing, in some Earthly cases).
