Assembling

Like any good multi-processor supported heatsink the Shuriken comes with several components to mount it to most motherboards. Scythe’s mounting system is called VTMS or Versatile Toll-Free Multiplatform System. If you aren’t familiar with it here is a simple breakdown on VTMS. Scythe includes three sets of clips that attach directly to the under fins of the cooler. There are no screws to tighten. In our test we will be using the Intel clips.

The rest of the assembling is as easy as mounting an Intel stock cooler to your motherboard,  as these clips uses the Intel style push pins.
