OCZ slashing some SSD prices

In a response to the launch of Intel's quite price-attractive 34nm X25-M drives, OCZ has decided to make several of its SSDs cheaper and thus, more competitive in the flash storage market.

Set to take effect in the next few weeks, the price cuts will see the 60, 120, and 250GB Vertex drives drop from $229, $369, and $725 to $190, $290, and $600, respectively, and the 60 and 120GB Agility drives go down from $197 and $300, to $160 and $270.

There's no mention of lower prices for other Indilinx-equipped models (like the Vertex EX) but they'll probably come sooner rather than later. TC Magazine
