iPhone app gives sex offenders no place to hide


Using the database of the sex offenders register - which is freely available - POM Offender Locator uses the iPhone's GPS facility to pinpoint the user's location and then gives a map of the area showing the address of convicted sex offenders. Tapping any one of these brings up the person's photograph, address, date of birth and list of convictions.

Users can also type in a street address anywhere in the US to gain the same information. TG Daily
